Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what Vexikey (an app operated by COCORISE LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom, hereinafter "we", "us", or "Vexikey") collects, why we collect it, and how it is handled. If you do not agree with anything below, please do not use Vexikey.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Account & device information

When you sign in with Apple, we receive an anonymous identifier (Apple openid) and, only if you choose to share them, your name and email. We also collect basic device information (device model, OS version, app version, preferred language) to keep the service running.

1.2 Text you actively send for AI

When you tap Polish or Icebreak, the relevant text (and any optional hint you provide) is sent to our server so the AI model can process it. This happens only when you explicitly invoke the feature. We do not read, log, or transmit anything you type otherwise.

1.3 Subscription information

Purchases are processed by Apple. We receive from Apple a transaction identifier and subscription status. Payment information (card, Apple ID) is handled entirely by Apple and never reaches our servers.

1.4 Diagnostics

We collect anonymous crash reports and aggregate usage metrics (e.g. which feature was tapped) to fix bugs and improve the product. These reports contain no keyboard input.

2. What we never collect

  • Passwords, credit card numbers, or any content typed into secure fields — iOS blocks third-party keyboards from these fields, and we honor that.
  • Anything you type when you are not actively invoking Polish or Icebreak.
  • Your contacts, photos, location, microphone, or camera. Vexikey does not request these permissions.

3. How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve Vexikey — including generating AI suggestions in Polish and Icebreak.
  • To manage your account and subscription (verify purchases, sync status across devices).
  • To communicate with you regarding service updates, security issues, or support requests.
  • To comply with applicable laws and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Data retention

Text sent to Polish or Icebreak is processed in memory and discarded as soon as the AI response is returned. It is not written to disk, not used to train any model, and not shared with any third party for their own purposes. Account data is retained for as long as your account exists; you can request deletion at any time (see Section 8).

5. Third-party services

To deliver AI generation, we route your prompt through a large language model provider (currently DeepSeek and/or OpenAI). These providers process your prompt solely to return a response; per their agreements with us, they do not retain your text or use it for training. Payment is handled by Apple. Sign-in is handled by Apple. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone.

6. Security

All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS with TLS 1.2 or higher. Authentication tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain with device-only accessibility. We follow industry practices to protect our servers, but no system is 100% secure — in the unlikely event of a breach affecting you, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

7. Children

Vexikey is not intended for children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email us at the address in Section 10. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA, UK, or California, additional rights under GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA apply — including the right to object to processing and to data portability.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email at least 7 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Vexikey after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
